LAUGHTER - GET BETTER FASTER

THE CURE OF ILLNESSES
CAUSED BY
MISINFORMATION

The things discussed up to now are valid for all illnesses.
You then need to carefully evaluate the illnesses in order to decide whether they should be confronted with drugs or surgery, or if it is better to let the body handle them by itself.
We have the diagnostic instruments and means to do this. Common sense advises us to use them to make sure there are no serious risks. The best choice is to cure oneself when, as often happens, it is only a question of minor disorders or functional imbalances, following a doctor's advice, but without stuffing oneself with drugs. Besides, by doing so, we reinforce our self-knowledge. We take responsibility for our own health and accumulate positive experiences, which will motivate us to stay healthy.
Each victory against a small illness that is achieved through your own powers and efforts keeps worse illnesses at bay (because feeling gratified is wonderful).
Lastly, curing yourself on your own allows you to concentrate on the objective of staying healthy, and this attitude reinforces in your unconscious mind the idea that to stay healthy is your absolute top priority.
This is especially true for a number of illnesses which are in fact caused only by behavioural errors, and therefore have no need to be cured. One need only to correct the behavioural errors that have caused them, and the disorders disappear at once. To swallow drugs or undergo surgical operations in order to attenuate the symptoms of these "illnesses" is pure folly.
Many people will think that I am exceedingly presumptuous to assert that thousands of doctors are stupid. Well, I don't believe that it is just a question of stupidity. There is an unscientific attitude behind it that one occasionally encounters in the medical community, and which is entirely at odds with medical ethics. There is a real idolatry of pills. One forgets that "the doctor cures illnesses that he really doesn't understand with drugs that he doesn't understand."
The body is a marvel of nature that we still don't know much about and that perhaps we will never completely know and understand. Therefore, we should first of all respect what little we have discovered about the natural functioning of this marvellous machine.
Some doctors are not very concerned about the matter. Prescribing pills is much easier. One of the fundamental causes of this situation is that from the day they begin their university studies, doctors are completely dependent on the huge drug industry. The pharmaceutical companies call the shots, by directing scientific research towards costly cures that promise large profits for them. Nobody will invest a single cent toward proving how long it takes to cure an ulcer with a bit of diet, passive meditation, self-massage and comedy films. It would be like throwing money out the window. The few independent researchers who have succeeded in obtaining dramatic results in the cure of illnesses caused by behavioural errors have been isolated by the pharmaceutical companies, and their discoveries are little known. And when they go to scientific symposiums to explain the results of their work, the great academics from all over the world line up to pee on their shoes.
In the following pages, I will list these disorders and explain their fundamental causes and the way to eliminate them.
